Auto-Renew Domain Registration
Posted by on 10 August 2013 03:05 PM

I see "auto-renewal" enabled for my domain. Does that mean my domain will renew without my action?

It depends on whether you have a card on file with us.

When your domain is set to "auto-renewal", what that means is not that the registration will get renewed for sure, but that you are sure to get INVOICED for the renewal. Now, if you are setup where you have a credit card on file with us, then we try to charge your card for any and all invoices that generate. So, if an invoice generates for your domain, and you have a valid card on file with us, then you should get renewed automatically.

If you don't want to wait, you can order a renewal on your own. You would login to your Customer Area with us, located here https://customers.seohosting.com/clientarea.php. Under Domains in the menu click on My Domains and click the "Manage Details" button next to the domain in question. Next to the "Recurring Amount" price you will see a "Renew Now" button. Hit that and it will guide you through paying for and adding years to your domain. Make sure you check the box to the left of the domain name when you place the order.
