What is a Registar Lock?

If you have a .com/.net/.org/.name/etc domain name, the Registrar Lock is a block placed at the Registrar level to prevent people from transferring the domain name unintentionally. You must login and remove the lock prior to initiating any domain registration transfers.

If you registered your domain name at SEOHosting follow the steps below

  1. Login to the Client Area:
  2. Under "Domains" section click on "My Domains"
  3. To the right of your domain name click on "Manage Domain"
  4. The fourth tab is "Register Lock" here you can unlock your domain
